Main Meeting
What:
The internet
has become somewhat pervasive in our daily lives and for many, it
has a positive impact and is an invaluable tool for keeping in touch
with business contacts or family members. There is however, a negative
side to this new communication medium and this months meeting will
investigate the darker side of the internet and how you can protect
yourself from being affected by the detrimental aspects of it.

of a new user or someone shifting over from a Windows computing
environment.

What:
Each month’s
meeting will look at one particular application or topic. These
will generally be of interest to fewer members than our main meetings,
but all members who are interested in the topic are welcome to attend.
We may spread some topics over two or three months if they are too
big to cover in a single meeting.
