The Wellington Macintosh Society Incorporated, a non-profit organisation and New Zealand's largest Macintosh User Group,
was formed in April 1984 to support Apple Macintosh computer users in Wellington, New Zealand. We hold meetings to instruct in computing and exchange ideas with other users of Apple Macintosh computers, iPads, & iPhones, watches, & Apple TV. Next Meetings in 2025 As the Wellington venue, Johnsonville Community Collective Hub has closed due to lack of finances, we meet in person at Kapiti and on Zoom only at main meetings for the time being. We have Zoom for remote attendance, details in the email reminder of meeting sent to members with the meeting link to the registration page. Kapiti meetings are held in person, either on a Monday afternoon at a member's house (see the Kapiti mailing list for details, and RSVP) , or on Monday nights at Kapiti Uniting Parish church if David Empson is presenting.We are taking suggestions for 2025 meeting topic from members, feel free to email us what you'd like to hear about. Stay tuned for further updates via the mailing list magazine, sent out January to November.
